I got the chance to read this book early and had a lot of fun reading it! The magic and mystery is strong in this one, and it had me trying to figure out what was happening, with mixed success.
With an interesting cast of characters and Ava being the protagonist, I had a lot of fun going through this story!

The main character Ava was interesting but I didnt like how she kept getting in trouble by not making smart decisions. Although the trouble was entertaining. I enjoyed her sarcasm and tendency to be headstrong but I wanted her to be more persistant when demanding answers. I must say this book had a lot of interesting elements. I like Ava, her small town and the ambience it had going in the beginning and all of the sudden it all changes. And honestly that is what made me gave it three stars. Where do I even start? I loved this book! I'm so glad that I had a chance to read it before it's release, so let's dive right into this review!

I gave this book a 4/5 stars. This is a great novel, and I recommend it to all fantasy lovers.
Here is the synopsis- Seventeen-year-old Ava is used to wild woodcats, homeless wanderers, and simple town people. But when a boy named Ethan arrives she quickly understands that there are worse things to deal with. I'm not a skilled critic but here goes. I honestly enjoyed the book from its humour to the characters flirting and banter.
It fit so well together, however at the beginning I didn't settle into the book after about an hour of reading I was hooked and wanted to read more.
Ava is one of the strongest female characters that I have ever had the good graces of reading. Her story will impress you all.

The story is thick with imagination and the plot is seamless, I could not find a fault in it at all. I am not overly crazy about this cover. The guy is NOTHING like how I pictured Ryan, and again the title of the book should be the most prominent text on the cover. The author's name a tagline is too big and having it placed in the middle draws the eye to there instead of to the title where it should be drawn to.

For some reason this book felt a little different than the first in the series and all other AR stories for that matter. It definitely offered the characters a lot more room to develop with it being a full length novel and the pacing was slowed in some ways I haven't seen before from the writing duo.

I liked being in H's head more than the h's, because his thoughts made more sense and flowed less erratically. Loved it! Loved Captain and Paige! Loved that he was obsessed with her. Loved the Paige shrine lol seriously wasn't expecting that! Pretty much loved everything about it. I will say the thing I loved the most though was the epilogue's I mean they killed it. Great hot and sexy read and also completely safe duh! Read it you will love it! I mean come on it's AR!

I think this is the first AR romance that I did not finish. I DNF'd at chapter 20 beacuse of the following:
•Right off the bat I wanted to scream at them because of the constant internal dialogue of ‘I am not good enough for her/him’
•I really did not like Paige – she came across as vain and melodramatic
Side note: Ryan did grow on me…he was sweet
